The following long-term closures are in effect.
Type of Closure: Permanent Full Closure
Area Impacted: Westbound Ocean Blvd. to the northbound 710 connector ramp.
Detour Route: Exit Ocean Blvd. at northbound Pico Ave. for approximately one-half mile, then use the on-ramp to rejoin the northbound 710.

Area Impacted: Westbound Ocean Blvd. from downtown Long Beach to the westbound Gerald Desmond Bridge
Detour Route: Exit Ocean Blvd. at Pico Ave. and take the on-ramp from Pico Ave. to rejoin the westbound Gerald Desmond Bridge. Motorists should plan ahead to allow for extra time to detour.
Type of Closure: Permanent Full Closure
Area Impacted: Eastbound Ocean Blvd. is closed at Pico Ave. All traffic is detoured to Pico Ave. or the northbound 710 Fwy. Downtown-bound traffic will turn right at Pico Ave. and left at Pier E St. to rejoin eastbound Ocean Blvd. Approaching the detour, traffic heading to downtown Long Beach should stay to the right to exit at Pico Ave. Traffic headed to the northbound 710 should stay to the left.

Area Impacted: The southbound 710 Freeway to westbound Ocean Blvd. connector is closed. The detour for traffic headed to Terminal Island and San Pedro is southbound Pico Ave. to westbound Ocean Blvd. Follow detour signs for “Terminal Island.”
