The Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project offers narrated construction tours for civic groups, professional industry organizations, and high school and college classes and groups. Tours cover the history of the Bridge Project, different methods of construction used to build the new bridge, important achievements and upcoming milestones, and much more.
Group tours are scheduled for the third Thursdays of each month. Capacity for each tour is limited, and groups may be combined to fill each tour.
Tour attendees will travel through the construction site by bus and will stop at designated locations for viewing the Bridge Project that do not require special apparel. Closed-toe, flat-soled shoes are recommended though.
