Every now and then, when members of the Bridge Project communications team are in the field taking photos, we are struck by things we see. These things are commonplace on a construction project, but – when you take a moment to step back and look at them – we see the intracacies of construction amid the grandeur of building a $1.5 billion bridge.
During our most recent photoshoot of the off-ramps into the city from the eastbound decline, our project photographer, Jonathan Alcorn, captured several terrific shots of the in-progress construction that really highlight the geometry of the building process. In these photos, you can see shapes, dimension, lines, and other elements that reinforce the amazing design of the construction process.
