ANNOUNCEMENTS
Since the morning of July 4, several large excavators equipped with jackhammers and claws have been working to tear down the elevated ramp that previously connected eastbound Ocean Boulevard to the northbound 710 Freeway.
To enable safe and expedient demolition of this connector, crews have been working around the clock and detours have been put in place on southbound Harbor Scenic Drive, and eastbound and westbound Ocean Boulevard.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during these closures, and during the entirety of this significant infrastructure improvement project. We are pleased to announce we are heading into the final stretch towards completion of the new bridge, which will offer vastly improved traffic flow and additional safety lanes.
